Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, is making the media rounds promoting “Archetypes” as well as her various media ventures now that she and her husband Prince Harry are residing in the US. Among other interesting claims of this rather guarded Duchess is that early in her career she was “objectified” as a model opening suitcases on the TV game show “Deal or No Deal.”
“Markle, 41, was working for ‘Deal or No Deal’ while auditioning for acting roles after having studied at Northwestern University,” Scott Stump writes for Today. “She said she was ‘grateful’ for the job and the health insurance offered by the game show at the time, but thought back to her previous work as an intern at the U.S. embassy in Buenos Aires and being valued for her intelligence.”
The Intercept investigative reporter Ken Klippenstein was on The New Abnormal podcast, and he didn’t disappoint. He reiterated his controversial reporting that Saudi Arabia decided to cut oil production by 2 million barrels a day, a cynical move intended to damage the prospects of the Democrat party and return more Saudi-friendly Trumpists to power. An October surprise? It is a dark but interesting idea, considering the Saudi royal family’s significant investments in both Jared and Wilbur after Trump left office.
Next up, Daily Beast media editor and editor of the media newsletter Confider, Andrew Kirell spoke on the question of the Fox mole. Who was it that leaked to Vice the too-anti-Semitic-for-Fox-News outtakes of the Ye interview with Tucker Carlson? Apparently, the higher ups at Fox News are not happy, according to Kirill:
This one has them really freaked out, and that’s, like, obvious because this is a bigger egg on their face than any previous leak … In this case, these leaks really show, give people a glimpse of how the sausage gets made. Whatever narrative is convenient for Fox News is the one that airs and despite their protestations that they are a news outlet — and I know that Tucker doesn’t count as straight news on Fox News, he’s a commenter or whatever — but they withheld newsworthy stuff from the interview … and also making a series of openly anti-Semitic remarks … he openly was talking about Jews controlling the levers of finance in no round about way and that all got cut, conveniently, just got left on the cutting room floor because it did not fit the narrative of the Candace Owens and the Tucker Carlsons taking advantage of this guy whose been in crisis for the past couple of years … Fox got caught with their pants down … and they still haven’t found the leaker.
Kirill has a theory that since Fox is “run like a Panopticon,” the mole would probably a video staffer on the production side or a stage manager in a non-ideological position. “Because those people are not true believers, they’re just there to do a job and smoke a cigarette outside and lament their life choices.” (The New Abnormal)

Regarding what pill Ye might possibly take for his antisemitism as well and bipolar disorder, Jon Stewart guesses, “Jew-alax?” Stewart also refers to Trump’s latest antisemitic outburst, calling it “one of the most explicit expressions of just pure ‘Jews have only loyalty to Israel … ’” (Apple TV+’s The Problem with Jon Stewart)
